Termopan - takes the exterior light in, keeps the heat and cold out
  Termopan from Fibrosan

Termopan double layer translucent FRP panels provide diffuse daylight penetration up to 70% into the facilities, where high thermal insulation and high strength are required. High density polyethylene foam reinforced Termopan FRP panels are produced with Fibroser sheets, therefore have the premium characteristics of Fibroser translucent panels.

Termopan panels fit together perfectly with metal sandwich panels and produced according to the purlin spacings of the customer’s project.

Termopan roof and wall coverings

Resistance

Termopan double layer translucent FRP panels are:

  • heat resistant from -40 °C to +120 °C minimising heat loss,
  • fully resistant to negative effects of mounting screws and fittings. No fractures or cracks occure over time,
  • waterproof with very low moisture absorption ratio,
  • resistant to chemicals,
  • anticorrosive,
  • resistant to UV and surface aging,
  • resistant to all weather conditions, impacts and crashes.
Termopan FRP, Safety and Strength

Safety, strength

Termopan is classified as Class 1 and Class 3 fire resistant according to BS 476-7. Panels avoid fire spread and extinguish themselves.

Panels are electrical insulators and avoid high voltage arc discharges.

Termopan sandwich panels are resistant to natural stress factors as wind, hail fall, snow load etc., have been tested to ACR (M) 001:2000 by BRE Ltd. UK and are classified as Class B.

Termopan Roof and wall panels

  • industrial buildings,
  • chemicals production plants and facilities,
  • food industry,
  • sports facilities and thermal pools,
  • tourist facilities,
  • tradeshow, fair and marketplace areas,
  • storage facilities,
  • agricultural and animal breeding facilities, etc.

Product samples of Fibroser, the sheets of Termopan, are tested and classified as Class-1 and Class-3 Fire Resistant according to BS 476-7 by Warrington Fire Research. Test results are recorded in reports Nr. 127 370 and 112 736. Samples of Fibroser panels, used in production of Termopan, are tested by BRE England and classified as Class B according to the test method BS 4154 of The British Standards Institution. Test results are recorded in the report Nr. 209 612. Thermal conductivity values of Termopan are tested according to DIN-51046 at the Heat Laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Dokuz Eylül University and quoted in the report dated 11.10.2005.
